Terry Mickelson, Partner

After working for the Internal Revenue Service for ten years, Terry earned his license as an Enrolled Agent, which allows him to practice before all tax authorities. At Allen Street Consulting, Terry is an accomplished consultant who provides effective tax, financial and business solutions to small businesses and nonprofits. By working directly with individual taxpayers on tax law and compliance issues, Terry has earned years of experience and a wealth of understanding on all levels of taxation related to helping individuals, small businesses and nonprofits. Terry is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor as well as a Certified Enterprise Solutions Advisor. Terry holds a bachelor of arts in music with a minor in mathematics from Northern Arizona State University.

Heidi I. Jones, Partner

As a consultant, Heidi’s focus is on helping businesses and nonprofits grow and change while supporting them in recognizing and tackling challenges. She uses the analytical tools provided by good financial data and combines them with gentle questioning, tutoring and deadlines to uncover and achieve clients’ goals. Heidi is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School and Pennsylvania State University, and she moonlights as a solo attorney. Heidi’s expertise and advanced training positions her to provide financial, operations and administrative consulting services to streamline operations.

Tammy L. Russell, CPA

Tammy is a multi-faceted consultant who provides small businesses and nonprofits with practical, cost-effective solutions to various accounting, tax and compliance issues. Her experience, both in public accounting firms and in private industry, has centered on helping small businesses thrive in an ever-changing environment. Tammy has an MBA and BS from the University at Buffalo and has been a licensed CPA in NYS since 1999.

Rachel Todd

Rachel is a part-time associate at Allen Street Consulting responsible for bookkeeping and administrative tasks. The remainder of her work life is spent at the Clean Air Coalition as the Development Coordinator. She spends her personal time cooking and eating, volunteering for women's health and civil rights organizations, and dog admiring. She graduated from the University at Buffalo magna cum laude with an honors degree in English and has, in past lives, been a radio DJ, a TV news writer, the editor of a gender studies journal, and a pharmacology research aide.

Alexandra Mickelson

Alexandra is a full-time bookkeeper at Allen Street Consulting. A lover of all things technological, she excels at cracking the toughest of QuickBooks challenges. In her free time, she loves crafting polymer clay creatures, experimenting with cosmetology, and playing with her cats Corpsegrinder and Fatticus.

Kristen Palmeri

Kristen is a bookkeeper, tax preparer and chief scanner at Allen Street Consulting. After seven years of working in the trenches of social work, she decided to return to the field of finance. Kristen has over ten years working as an accounting, budget and grant manager. She has served as a board officer for various local non-profit organizations and is a graduate of Leadership Niagara. She continues to work as an advocate for individuals who experience mental illness, substance abuse, homelessness, and poverty. In her spare time, Kristen is a guerilla gardener, a fiber artist, and beader; and enjoys orienteering, kayaking and hiking adventures. Kristen has a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and a masters degree in social work from SUNY at Buffalo (University of Buffalo).

Christina Tretter-Herriger

Christina focuses on streamlining payroll processes and compliance for Allen Street clients. She also assists with client tax preparation, business management, and not for profit consultation. In her personal time she rides dressage and hunter horses professionally, and hikes with her three rescue dogs. Christina holds BAs in German, Latin and Religious Studies from Franklin and Marshall College, as well as a JD from Cornell Law School and a Masters of Law and Legal Practice from the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin.

Jennifer Moog

With over 25 years of experience in financial management, primarily in the non-profit sector, Jennifer provides depth of experience in understanding the needs and goals of an organization and helping ensure their systems and procedures are aligned to provide accurate and useful information for strategic management and business decisions. An avid fan of Quickbooks Online, she enjoys new account set-ups and training others on how to use it. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and, having grown up overseas in Bogotá, Colombia, speaks Spanish fluently.

Alexander French

Alex is a bookkeeper and tax preparer at Allen Street Consulting. With a diverse background ranging from nonprofit development to professional baking, he is passionate about the success and sustainability of small businesses and unique organizations. Alex is an Ohio native and graduate of BGSU Firelands. Outside of Allen Street, you can find him digging for records, tinkering with his synthesizers, or admiring his wonderful cat Mascha.
